Serjik Nazarian, DPM
Dr. Serj Nazarian, surgeon, author, and speaker is board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery and has been in practice in the Verde Valley and Sedona since 1993. He has been on medical staff at Verde Valley Medical Center in Cottonwood since 1993 and has served on the Medical Executive Committee since 2008.
Dr. Nazarian moved to the area after completing two years of Podiatric residency at Cart T. Hayden Veterans Administration Medical Center in Phoenix, Arizona.
He received extensive training in the management of the diseased foot through either conservative or surgical interventions.
He is highly trained and interested in the management of the diabetic foot in order to prevent and reduce the amputation rate. He advocates integrating multi-medical specialty approaches to treat and manage diabetics and peripheral vascular disease patients.
Dr. Nazarian has developed a very unique practice in the area of reconstructive foot surgery as well as conservative management of proper gait development in adults and children.
